How do I play roulette?

Roulette comes in many variations, but the most popular is the European version.

Roulette is played with a board that has 36 red and black numbers, plus a zero, and a spinning roulette wheel with numbered sections around the edge.

Players place their bets on individual numbers or combinations of numbers (inside and outside bets).

The croupier spins the roulette wheel in one direction and the ball in the opposite direction.

As the ball spins, it will gradually slow down and eventually land in one of the numbered sections.

The number where the ball lands is the winning number, and anyone who has bet on that number wins.
